Ember website and development sign-in privacy notice
This notice covers Ember’s public website and limited development sign-in.
Who we are and what this covers
AdvisorCRM Inc., a Texas corporation, operates Ember at ember.advisorcrm.studio. This notice covers the public website, inquiries and the limited development sign-in. Full customer-service terms and privacy disclosures will be reviewed before customer records or connected documents are introduced.
Information you provide
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, firm and message. Please use fictional examples when discussing development; do not send client records, identity documents, passwords or authentication codes through this website.
Website operation
Hosting and communications providers process connection and request information to deliver and protect their services. This website does not include optional analytics, advertising trackers, session recordings, booking forms or marketing signup. A contact link opens your email application; it does not submit a form to Ember.
Google sign-in and account security
When enabled for the development app, Google sign-in supplies account information used to recognize you, including an account identifier, email address and basic profile information. Ember uses the linked account identifier to apply existing workspace permissions; an email match alone does not grant access.
We may request Google’s signed information about the authentication method and time to determine whether another security check is needed. This integration is still in development. Google does not give Ember your Google password, fingerprint, face scan or private passkey. Basic sign-in does not authorize Ember to read Gmail, Drive or your contacts.
The development app uses authentication credentials and session cookies to keep authorized access secure. If you choose authenticator enrollment, its setup QR code is generated in your browser without an external QR service. Keep that code private.
How information is used and shared
We use information to answer inquiries, develop and support Ember, verify sign-in, enforce access permissions and protect the service. Authorized personnel and providers for hosting, account authentication and business email may process relevant information for those purposes. Google/Firebase supports development authentication; additional production services will be disclosed as they are activated.
We do not sell or rent visitor or contact information, or share it with partners for their own marketing. Information may be disclosed where legally required or necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims.
Retention
For website inquiries from people who do not become customers, we keep inquiry information for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, such as an inquiry or reply, followed by deletion or removal of identifying details. Sending an outbound message does not itself restart that period.
Development account records and security records have separate purposes. Their deletion and retention settings must be documented before broader use; this notice does not promise an automatic deletion schedule that has not been implemented. Customer-service retention, including the separately approved relationship-based periods, is outside the website-inquiry rule.
Your requests
You may request access, correction or deletion by contacting our privacy contact, privacy@advisorcrm.com. We may verify your identity before responding. Some information may need to be retained for applicable obligations or disputes. General Ember questions can be sent to ryan@advisorcrm.studio.
